Sustainable Procurement for Supply Chain Management

ABSTRACT

Conducted for the City of Vancouver, this project investigated the city’s catering sector through combined primary and secondary research, including interviews, surveys, and industry analyses. It examined caterers’ sustainability practices, supply-chain dynamics, and purchasing patterns to estimate collective buying power. Findings informed a sustainability-based evaluation framework and guide strategies for influencing suppliers toward improved environmental performance
